Pool service companies
Pool service website design, built around the route.
Pool owners want three things before they sign up: the weekly price, what it includes and proof you actually showed up. A good pool service site answers all three and puts them on a route. $1,999 flat, live seven days later.
What this build puts first
What changes for pool service companies.
What should a pool service website include?
A pool service website answers the weekly price and what it includes, shows proof of each visit with a sample service report, separates cleaning from repairs and the license each needs, and takes sign-ups straight into your route software. I build that for $1,999 flat, live in seven days.
The rest is the same on every build: design, copy, scheduling, search, a year of hosting and edits, and a site you own. It’s all on the services page, and the money is on pricing.
The number
The weekly price, and what’s in it.
Pool service is a subscription, and the first question is always the monthly price. The second is whether chemicals are included. Answer both on the page.
- 01Weekly serviceThe monthly price for a standard pool, and what makes it more.
- 02ChemicalsIncluded or billed, and how you handle a green pool.
- 03ExtrasFilter cleans, salt cells, openings and closings in cooler climates.
- 04Sign upPick a plan, give the address, get a start date.
Did they show up?
Proof of the visit is the product.
The most common complaint about pool companies is not knowing whether anyone came. If your software sends a report after each stop, with a photo and chemical readings, the website should show an example.
The report
What a customer receives after every visit.
Your techs
Who services the route, and how long they’ve been with you.
Equipment work
Repairs, equipment and the license.
Repairs are where the money is, and in some states they need a license that cleaning doesn’t. Florida, for example, doesn’t license cleaning or water treatment but does license installing or replacing pool equipment. Say what you’re licensed to do.
Scheduling software
Wired into what you already run.
Pool routes live in your software. New sign-ups from the site land there with the address and the plan they picked.
Skimmer
Built for pool routes, with service reports, photos and chemical readings after each stop.
Pool Brain
Another pool-specific route tool; sign-ups and repair requests can feed it.
Jobber and others
Handled the same way.
See it working
The closest site I’ve built.
There isn’t a pool service company in my portfolio yet. The closest is Kestrel Air in Mesa: a membership plan priced on the page, a same-day cutoff on Arizona time, and the license shown where Arizona wants it. A pool site uses the same parts on a weekly route.
Questions
What pool service companies ask first.
01How much does a pool service website cost?
$1,999 flat, one time, for the design, the words, your route software wired in and the launch, with twelve months of hosting and edits included.
02Should pool companies post their weekly price?
Yes. Pool service is a subscription, and the monthly price plus what it includes is the first thing people look for.
03Do pool service companies need a license?
It depends on the state and the work. Florida, for example, doesn’t license cleaning or water treatment but does license installing or replacing pool equipment. Show the license that covers what you sell.
04Can customers sign up for weekly service online?
Yes. A sign-up form can create the customer in Skimmer, Pool Brain, Jobber or the software you use.
05How long does it take?
Seven days from the form to a live site. If the preview isn’t in your hands by day seven, I refund half the build fee and launch the site free.
