01What I do

Yeti Trades Co. (“Yeti,” “I,” “me,” “my”) is a one-person studio run by Kyle Archuleta from Seattle, Washington. I build websites for the trades only: plumbers, HVAC companies, roofers, electricians, landscapers and lawn care companies, remodelers and builders, painters, and neighboring trades where the work happens at the customer’s property.

When you hire me, you get a complete contractor website for a flat $1,999, with the first twelve months of hosting, security, search upkeep and small edits included. The fee is the same whether you run one truck or twelve. By paying the first half and starting the project, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, ask before you start.

02Pricing

The $1,999 flat fee includes:

  • A website designed for your company and your trade, not a template with your logo on it
  • Typically five pages (home, services, about, your work and contact), plus a page per service or per town where it earns its place
  • Every word written by me, from your form, your reviews and a few texts with you
  • A layout built for phones first, with a tappable phone number on every page
  • Request or booking forms wired into the field service software you already run: Jobber, Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Workiz, FieldEdge, Service Fusion, Kickserv, ServiceM8 or Square
  • Search setup: titles, descriptions, structured data for your services, area, hours and license, a sitemap, and submission to Google and Bing
  • Your license, registration or certification numbers placed where your state’s advertising rules ask for them, using the numbers you give me
  • Changes requested at the preview, made before launch

The first twelve months also include, with no separate charge:

  • Hosting and the security certificate on a managed content delivery network
  • Unlimited small edits: prices, hours, a new tech, a storm or holiday banner, a seasonal special, photo swaps
  • Search and structured data kept current through the year
  • A direct line: text or email me. I reply within four hours, Monday to Saturday. No ticket queue
  • Your domain, DNS and site files in your name from day one

After twelve months, hosting and support renew at $300 a year or $30 a month, your choice. If you’d rather run the site yourself, say so and I hand the whole thing over free.

Work outside that scope, such as a large batch of new pages, custom tools or integrations beyond those listed, is billed at $75 an hour. I always quote before starting anything extra.

03Your role

I write the site, but I need a few things from you within five business days of your first payment:

  • The form on this site, filled out
  • Photos of your work, trucks and crew. Phone photos are fine
  • Your logo, if you have one
  • Your prices, fees or ranges, and the services and towns you want to be found for
  • Your license, registration, insurance and bond details as you want them shown
  • Access to your domain and Google Business Profile, and to your field service software’s booking or request form
  • Quick answers to a few texts while I write

The seven-day clock starts once I have these. If something is missing I pause the build and remind you on day three, then follow up on day five.

Thirty-day rule. If I don’t receive what I need within thirty calendar days of your first payment, I close the project and the first payment isn’t refunded. I hold a build week for you and can’t hold it open forever.

Accuracy is yours. You’re responsible for the accuracy of the facts you give me and approve on the site: license and registration numbers, prices, warranties, financing terms, service areas, certifications, rebate details and any claims about your work. You’re also responsible for making sure the site meets your state’s and city’s advertising rules for your trade. I place licenses where I understand the rules ask for them, but I’m not a lawyer, and your licensing board has the final word.

You also confirm that the photos, logos and text you send are yours to use or properly licensed, and that you have permission to show any customer’s home or face that appears in them.

04Payment

Half the fee, $999.50, reserves your build week. I don’t start until it clears. Once it does, I start immediately or within one business day, and from then the first half is non-refundable, apart from the guarantee in section five.

The second half, $999.50, is due when you approve the preview, before the site goes live on your domain. Nothing launches until it clears. If you don’t approve the preview, you don’t pay the second half.

Nothing else is billed in the first twelve months. Each payment comes with an itemized invoice.

05Timeline and the guarantee

Seven days from when I have what section three lists to a live site. The private preview reaches you by day six, and the site goes live on day seven once you approve it.

The guarantee: if the preview isn’t in your hands by day seven, for reasons on my side, I refund half the build fee and launch the site free.

The guarantee doesn’t cover delays caused by missing content, slow answers, waiting on access to your domain or software, or requests well beyond the standard scope.

06Changes

When the preview arrives, send me everything you want changed: wording, photos, colors, layout, prices. Changes requested at the preview are included and usually done the same day.

After launch, small edits are unlimited for the first twelve months. Larger work, like a new section of the site or a new tool, is quoted first and billed at $75 an hour.

07Ownership

You own your website. Your domain and DNS are in your name from day one, and the design, code and copy I create for you are yours once the site is paid for. You can move it, change it or hand it to someone else.

Your photos, logos and materials stay yours. I won’t reuse them anywhere else without asking.

Portfolio use. I may show your finished site as an example on this website and on social media. Tell me before launch if you’d rather I didn’t, and I won’t.

08Refunds

  • The first half is non-refundable once work begins, which is as soon as it clears, except under the day-seven guarantee.
  • If you don’t approve the preview, you don’t pay the second half, and the project ends there.
  • No refunds after launch. Once you’ve approved the site, or it’s been five business days since the preview with no reply, the build is complete.
  • The day-seven guarantee: if the preview isn’t in your hands by day seven, for reasons on my side, I refund half the build fee and launch the site free.
  • Renewal is optional. Nothing recurs in the first year, and if you decline the renewal I hand the site over free.

09What I can’t promise

I build fast, well-made websites, but I can’t promise business results. I can’t guarantee:

  • Search rankings, map pack positions or traffic
  • A particular number of calls, jobs or revenue
  • Results from advertising, Local Services Ads or lead marketplaces
  • The uptime or behavior of third-party services: hosting providers, Google, or your field service software
  • Compatibility with every browser, device or future software update

What I do guarantee: a professional, working website, delivered on time, that loads fast on a phone.

10Support

For twelve months after launch, text or email me if anything breaks: a form stops sending, an image won’t load, the booking button misbehaves. I fix it at no charge. Small edits are included too, and there’s no ticket queue.

After the first twelve months, support renews with hosting at $300 a year or $30 a month, or I hand over the site and you run it yourself.

11Contact and disputes

Questions about these terms? Email kyle@yetitrades.com or use the form.

If we disagree, I’ll work it out with you directly first. If that doesn’t settle it, these terms follow Washington law and any dispute is handled in Washington courts.

I may update these terms. If I make a material change, I’ll say so on this page and update the date. Changes don’t apply to a project already underway.
