About

I build websites for the trades.

Plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical, landscaping, remodeling and painting. This studio builds for nothing else, and working for one kind of business means I already know what your services page has to do, what your scheduling software won’t let you change, and what a homeowner checks before they call.

From the founder

I design, write and build every site here myself, from Seattle, for contractors all over the country. Nobody else touches yours, during the build or after it. When your prices change or you buy a new truck, you text me and it’s live the same day.

Yeti Trades Co. is my second studio. The first, Yeti Design Co., builds the same way for salons, spas and barbershops: one flat fee, seven days, and a site the owner owns. Same process, same guarantee, a different trade.

What I believe

Most people see your website before they see your truck.

Before someone lets you into their house, they look you up on their phone. Sometimes it’s at eleven at night with a bucket under the ceiling. Sometimes it’s a Saturday morning with three quotes on the kitchen table. If your site is slow, generic or hard to read, they call the next company.

So every choice I make is about the next phone call: the number where a thumb can reach it, the price range a homeowner is too embarrassed to ask, the license number that tells them you’re not a guy with a truck and a magnet sign.

The math · $1,999 against a published agency estimate

What an agency quote is actually paying for.

One agency that builds plumbing sites, ColorWhistle, publishes an estimate of $2,200 to $4,800 for the build and a $699-a-month plan on top, and plenty of home-service marketing companies add a retainer that never ends. That money covers the meetings before the work, rounds of revisions, a project manager, an account manager and a designer who’s never stood in a crawlspace. I leave all of that out, and because I build for one kind of business, you’re not paying me to learn yours. Your $1,999 buys the design, the words, the scheduling setup and a year of hosting and small edits.
