Plumbing at one price. Even at 2 a.m.
Every common job in Houston has a flat price on this website, and the price is the same at two in the morning as at two in the afternoon. You know the number before the truck rolls.
- Same price after dark
- Price before we start
- Inside the Loop and out
The number, before the truck rolls.
Same price after dark
No overtime, no trip charge, no holiday rate. A clogged main on Christmas morning costs what it costs on a Tuesday.
The price before the wrench
The plumber confirms the job and the price on your doorstep. If the job is different from what you described, you hear the new number before anything is opened.
A licensed plumber on every call
Not a helper with a drain machine. Every truck has a licensed Texas plumber, and every license number is on our plumbers page.
Inside the Loop. Out to the Beltway.
Eleven trucks start the day spread around the 610 Loop, so the nearest one is usually in your part of town already. When you call, dispatch gives you a two-hour window and texts the plumber’s name and photo when the truck leaves.

Wrenches, not stock photos.
Houston clay moves. Your slab moves with it.
Most Houston houses sit on a concrete slab poured over clay that swells when it’s wet and shrinks in a dry August. The water lines run under that slab, and when the ground shifts, they crack. You won’t see it. You’ll notice it.
- A warm spot on the floor
- The water meter spinning with every tap off
- A bill that jumped for no reason
- The sound of water in a quiet house
Detection is $395 flat, and most of the time we fix it by rerouting a new line through the attic rather than breaking up your floor. How slab leaks get fixed →
Do these four things, then call.
Shut the main
Usually in a box by the street with the meter, or a valve where the line enters the house. Quarter turn, or turn the wheel clockwise.
Kill the heater
Gas to “pilot,” or flip the breaker on an electric one. A heater running dry burns out the element.
Open a tap
A low faucet outside drains the pressure out of the lines so the leak stops pushing water.
Take a photo
Text it to (713) 555-0142. The plumber sees it before the truck leaves and brings the right parts.

What Houston says after.
Main line backed up at 11 at night. They quoted $295 on the phone, the plumber was here before one, and the bill said $295. That has never happened to me before.
Found the slab leak in about forty minutes and talked me out of tearing up my kitchen. Rerouted it through the attic in one day.
Water heater in the attic, which every other company wanted a fortune for. Six-Ten’s price was on their website and that’s what I paid.
