Natural gas, or a tank in the yard.
If your street has natural gas, that’s usually the answer. If it doesn’t, a propane tank works well, as long as it’s sized for how long you want to run.
The choice.
Runs as long as the gas does
No tank, no refills. We check your meter and service line can supply the generator and your other gas appliances at once.
Runs as long as the tank
A 500-gallon tank is common. Fill it before June and top it off when a storm is forecast.
Separate gas permit
Gas piping is installed and permitted by a licensed gas contractor. We coordinate it.
Propane run times.
Rough figures at about 2.6 gallons an hour and an 80% fill. Your unit’s actual burn rate is on its spec sheet; we use it in your quote.
Not sure what you have? We’ll check the meter.
