Thirty-seven winters on the South Side.
Ole Lindqvist started the company in 1988 with one truck and a rule he still repeats: a house should be warm, quiet and safe, and in that order.
Warm, quiet, safe
Warm means sized right, so the house holds temperature on the design day without running loud and short the rest of the winter. Quiet means the system you live with doesn’t announce itself. Safe means a carbon monoxide reading on every visit, whether you asked for it or not.
Why we tell people to wait
Because a lot of the heating systems in this city are better than their owners think. A clean, tuned furnace or boiler can run far longer than the replacement schedule a salesman will hand you. We’d rather you call us for the next thirty years than once.
Warm, quiet, safe. In that order.
The cold-climate heating site, built in seven days.
Sixteen pages: a live outdoor-temperature ladder, an honest cold-climate heat pump page that says when to keep the furnace, and a no-heat line that leads every page from November to March.
