About · since 2016

Named for a bird that hunts in the heat.

American kestrels hover over the desert in the middle of a July afternoon, when everything else is hiding. That’s the job.

Why same-day

Rafael spent eight summers telling people on the phone that the earliest opening was Thursday, while they sat in a house at 94 degrees. When he started Kestrel he built the schedule backwards from one rule: if you call before 2, someone comes today.

Why we tell people not to replace

Because a lot of the systems we’re called to replace don’t need it. A nine-year-old system with a bad capacitor needs a capacitor. We’d rather keep you as a customer for the next twenty years than sell you one system now.

Call before 2. We’ll be there today.

Sixteen pages: a live same-day cutoff on Arizona time, a repair-or-replace calculator, a rough sizing check, and the ROC license on the home page where Arizona requires it.
